Had my first week of work. Kinda boring cuz what I do is only typing in the activity sheet of a worker for the day and there are like 200 workers in a day and so far I have only managed to finish typing for a week (6 days) only... The whole cycle will start again tml. After staring at the computer for such a long time made my eyes dry and extremely tired. But can't complain so much cuz it's what admin suppose to do..
Went to Bugis to get birthday present. Met up with yl, py and daniel. Ended up spending most of the time (almost 1.5hrs) talking and chit-chatting over dinner at Fish & Co.. Ordered/shared ocean platter, swordfish collar and mussels. Had the swordfish collar for the first time and it was not bad although it was deep fried but it matches well with the sour-spicy sauce. I had the pufferfish drink and it was too sweet for my liking, should have gotten the lobster drink instead...

My brother's birthday. Went to bugis again. But not to shop. Went to the temple cuz my brother's having his exams next week and my elder brother is going on a 3-week vacation in Australia.
Had a sumptuous crab dinner @ AMK. Mellben Seafood, right opposite my secondary school - Mayflower. Had chili crab, ribs in lotus leaves, fried tofu, steamed red grouper teochew style. Definitely going back to the place to try their other types of crabs.

Father’s Day is today so went to the SAF Yacht Club for lunch with the whole family including大嫂. Had oats prawn, curry fish head as recommended by my elder brother, broccoli with scallops, crispy chicken, bean curd with crabmeat and bamboo clams. The bill was supposed to be shared between my younger brother and me… In the end only I paid my elder brother back because my di didn’t bring his wallet out…
Right now… I am officially broke as I only have $15 left for my first day of work tomorrow…

Yesterday’s trip to the zoo was good and bad.
The good:
Finally get to visit the zoo again after such a long time. Everything is good =) Caught 2 of the animal shows – Wonders of the Wild and Splash Safari. Got partially wet from the sea lion’s slaps of water from the pool because there were no more seats left and was standing out front. Saw a lot of changes to the zoo’s features too… Saw Inuka too, sprawled on the floor enjoying the cool misting of the fans.
The bad:
No photos were taken at the zoo. The camera wasn’t working (initially)!!!!! Since the digital camera was taken apart by my brother, my dad decided to use back the old camera which uses film. I guess it was because being left in the shelf for almost 5-6 years, the accumulation of dust, the motor wasn’t working as expected.
However, the really bad part was that after leaving the zoo in the afternoon, my brother and I decided to try the camera again and guess what… It started working perfectly…

Yeah~~ I am going to the zoo tomorrow!
Let's see... The last time I went to the zoo was when I was in secondary school, at least 5 years ago...
Hope the weather is good tomorrow, not rainy, not too hot, better be breezy...

I am waging a war right now with the tiny black ants in my house... Ever since the tenants moved in I noticed an increased amount of these ants in the house... ROAR!!!
They are everywhere!!!!
On so many foodstuff.... Sugar, baking powder, my baked pizza (even when I put it into a container, they attacked the pizza through the hole of the container. Got super upset when I saw this because I baked the pizza and I still have got one 2 large pieces I have eat yet)...
In so many places... toilet/bathroom, kitchen, dining table, living room...
My mom says the off-the-shelves poison for these ants are of no use in dispersing them or killing them... The worst thing is that I know they are somewhere inside the kitchen cabinets but I lost track of the ants when they enter the crevices.... Argh...

Went to Tanjong Pagar in the morning for the final job interview. Got totally lost in the area and finally hopped onto a taxi to bring me to the exact place. Luckily I reached the place just 2 mins before 10am. Was totally surprised when I walked into the conference room because I realise I would be talking to a panel of 3 of the company's personnel. The interview was really short, around 10 minutes. Just some basic questions like how long was the journey from my house to the company, will you find admin job boring, and some questions related to school. Overall it was okay. The good news came in less than 15 mins. I got the call from the job agency and the agent said the company's hiring me.
Happy happy ~~ Time to brush up on my Excel skills too...
Will be starting the first day on Monday, 8am (kinda early... means I have to wake up at 6.45am) . But first I have to get myself a pair of flats to walk to the workplace. My toes hurt in heels after walking the long distance from the company to the train station.

Went for my job interview today at Clarke Quay... Got a little bit lost trying to exit Central mall to reach the job agency but all thanks to the information help-desk that I exited at the correct place.
Getting a confirmation job interview from the company on thursday at 10am... Kinda early... Hope by then I am fully awake and I don't stumble and mumble out stupid answers...

Till now (from yesterday), my fingers still have a faint smell of garlic.. All thanks to helping my mom peel a whole bag of garlic for the upcoming wrapping of dumplings... Yucks

The days are getting warmer and more humid...
I really can't stand it...
I felt my life being sucked away the moment I step away from the air-conditioner or the fan...
Made my mood a little grumpy ...
Though there are brief rainy occasions, it doesn't bring respite...
You can feel the increased humidity...
I still prefer my rainy cold weather...
